This project was the result of a close collaboration between the creative team at Headvertising, Cabo Studio, the production studio, and the Delaco team. Together, we transformed the concept of “fluffiness” into a captivating visual story.Mornings have never been "fluffier" than with Delaco’s fluffy cheese. Starting from a concept that highlights the texture and freshness of the product, I aimed to capture the essence of the brand in an authentic, relaxed, and... delicious way.When we received this project, we knew the primary goal was to turn simple breakfast moments into a memorable experience. It all began with a simple question: How do we transform fluffy cheese into a symbol of perfect mornings?
Concept development
The vision behind the project
The project with Delaco started with a well-defined brief and involved numerous meetings, discussions, mood board creation, and other creative stages to ensure the result perfectly reflected the client’s vision.
We built the concept around the idea of “fluffiness,” that pleasant state where you don’t want to get out of bed in the morning. Delaco cheese extends this sensation, bringing comfort directly into your kitchen.
Key elements of the concept:
- The cheese blanket: A visual symbol suggesting relaxing mornings and a delicious breakfast.
- Visual accents: Natural textures, warm colors, and props that reflect an authentic yet sophisticated atmosphere.
- Expressive character: A relaxed, natural female figure enjoying the comfort of a perfect breakfast with Delaco’s fluffy cheese.
The creative direction was clear: to tell the story of the product through simple yet memorable frames that evoke the emotion and comfort Delaco cheese brings to everyday life.
The shooting process

Gear and Tools Utilized
Camera:
The shoot was conducted using a Nikon Z8, renowned for its ability to capture footage in 4K ProRes 12-bit, ensuring unparalleled video quality.
Lenses:
- Nikon 85 f1.8
- Nikon 35mm f/1.8
- Laowa Probe Lens
Lighting and Modifiers:
The lighting setup featured two continuous lights, one with 300W power and the other with 200W. While the lights were rarely used at full capacity, the Laowa Probe Lens required maximum output due to its unique aperture demands.
Soft, diffused lighting was achieved using 120cm and 90cm octobox modifiers. The 200W light was placed outside the shooting area and adjusted to create a warm, summery glow, perfectly complementing the video’s theme.
Support Equipment:
To ensure smooth and dynamic camera movements, we employed a motorized slider, electronically controlled video heads, and durable tripods and light stands capable of handling the combined weight of the lights and modifiers.

Making it all work
The production process was a blend of meticulous organization and spontaneous moments that added charm and authenticity to the project.
Key Steps:
- Food Styling: We paid close attention to detail, crafting plates that looked natural yet picture-perfect for the camera. Each element was carefully arranged to highlight the product’s appeal while maintaining a sense of authenticity.
- Angle Testing: We experimented with various camera positions to find the composition that showcased the product most effectively. This iterative process ensured that every shot aligned with the campaign’s vision.
- Creative Accents: Thoughtful touches, such as using a kitchen towel as a soft background, were integrated to enhance the morning “fluffiness” theme. These small details brought warmth and depth to the visuals, reinforcing the emotional connection to the product.
This approach allowed us to capture the essence of the concept while ensuring that the final visuals were both polished and relatable.
Post-production
Creating the final video
After filming, we moved into the post-production stage, where every detail was polished to enhance the visual impact and ensure the final product aligned perfectly with the campaign’s vision.
Refinements Made in Post-Production:
- Color Correction:
The warm tones were carefully adjusted to reflect the welcoming and cozy atmosphere of a Delaco breakfast. This subtle enhancement ensured the visuals were both inviting and brand-aligned. - Details and Texture:
The creamy texture of the cheese was subtly emphasized, highlighting its quality and appeal while preserving its natural look. This delicate balance ensured authenticity in every frame. - Final Packshot:
The logo and brand message were elegantly integrated into the final scene. This was done in a way that complemented the overall aesthetic, keeping the focus on the product while subtly reinforcing the brand identity.
Through meticulous attention to detail in post-production, the final video achieved a polished and professional look that effectively communicated the story and emotion behind Delaco’s vision.
